If my readers have seen my web blog you will know that i was promoting an event on the 18th of August at The Galleries of Justice which is in Nottingham and this was an event specifically designed for Cancer Research uk.
My aim was to attract as many people as possible and give them a night they would not forget.
We ended up with 55 people on the night which was made up in part of guests from the Southport area but also a large percentage from the Nottingham area.
I spent 3 and a half months planning this event and i managed to attract Richard Felix "from Most Haunted" t.v. fame who himself has been affected by Cancer in his earlier days.It was a satisfying moment for me to meet Richard for the first time.
Someone involved in a programme that made me and thousands like me sit up for the first time and take a serious interest in the Para Normal.
The night began at around 7.00 pm, people of all ages {over 18}, class and religion were there waiting to be taken to the meeting room.
As soon as we had checked everyone in, i introduced myself to the group and confirmed the total amount that we had collected for this event.
After a short explanation about the night ahead, the next stage of the night was to take groups of 8/9 around the building and allow them to familiarise themselves with the building.
This building dates back to 1375 where i believe it has been a prison and a court of law since this time.
The cells are original and they show just how prisoners lived whilst held at The Galleries. There is the condemned cell and The Pits which you have to visit to believe how anyone could have survived.
The building is much bigger than i expected and it would proove impossible to investigate the whole building on this night.
To be continued
